‘Top Of The Pops’ is set to make a return to the BBC next month, according to The Metro. The popular music show ran for over forty years before being axed in 2006, however it has been announced today that it will return on Thursday nights from April 7th.

The Parklife Weekender 2011 adds yet more to a massive line up as Saturday’s headliner Two Door Cinema Club and Everything Everything join 90+ artists across two days. Despite only being on sale for six weeks 65% of tickets have now been sold for the summer’s best value for money festival, at only £58.50 per weekend pass. Continuing to push the boundaries of what digital cinema can deliver at the local multiplex, Arts Alliance Media has teamed with Exclusive Media Group, RCA Records and Spitfire Pictures to bring the highly anticipated music documentary 'Foo Fighters Back And Forth,' followed by a streamed performance from the band, to over 200 cinemas across Europe for one night only on April 7th. The band will play its new album 'Wasting Light' in its entirety on the evening of April 5th in a performance to be broadcast to European cinemas on April 7th.

Arctic Monkeys have announced today that 'Don't Sit Down 'Cause I've Moved Your Chair' will be taken as the lead single for their upcoming album 'Suck It And See'. The track is set for a digital release on April 11th, with a limited set of white label seven-inch vinyl’s of the single made available for Record Store Day, which takes place on April 16th.

Following the first tour since the release of the album trilogy ('Hombre Lobo', 'End Times', 'Tomorrow Morning') in 2010, Eels are surprising fans by launching a 2011 world tour. After a warm-up show in Santa Ana, CA, June 1st, the tour officially starts with the first ever Eels performances in Beijing and Shanghai, June 5th & 6th, then rolls through Europe, including their first appearance at the Glastonbury Festival June 26th and onto North America, starting in Austin, TX, July 20 and ending in Los Angeles, CA, August 12th.

In what will hopefully be music’s most bizarre collaboration this year, Charlie Sheen has confirmed that he is working on a single with Snoop Dogg and Filter’s Rob Patterson. The comedian posted a picture of the three men sitting at a studio desk on his Twitter account, confirming speculation that he was planning on releasing music on the back of recent media interest in his career.
